Day 67 #POVChallenge

One of the most powerful things you can do for your mental health, is getting your ass in the gym.
.
Honestly, I don’t care to be the most shredded man to walk this planet. I have zero reason to be.
.
BUT what I do care about more than anything is making sure I have my mind right.
.
Life is hard and it’s going to throw sooooo many challenges your way.
.
These challenges are going to put you in a state of fear, anxiety, depression, worry, and many other negative states of mind.
.
As I continue to push myself physically and mentally at the gym, I’m finding it easier and easier to sit and control these emotions.
.
When people get in these negative states, it’s easy to mask them with alcohol, drugs, or other crutches.
.
But from my experience, consistently putting in the work at the gym is by far the easiest way to attack the root of all these problems so you don’t have to mask them with crutches.
.
At the end of the day, this is only one benefit you get from slinging weights. There are so many others I can talk about, but to me the mental health aspect is the most important.
.
Even if you aren’t feeling it, get your workouts in. It’ll fortify your mind for life’s challenges in a way nothing else can.
