This chapter specifically made me make sense of so many of the decisions I have decided to make in life.
.
Some of the decisions I was making made me question if I was a bit insane, crazy, or just had my wires crossed differently than other.
.
So many dark times I felt like I had ZERO idea what I was doing.
.
So many times where I felt like I was wasting my time pursing something that wasn’t meant for me.
.
But I stuck through it.
.
Through hell.
.
Through the darkness.
.
Just to feel that high… one… more… time… that you get from winning.
.
I put all my weight to the winning side of the scale, and after seeing the results, it became an addiction. But that addiction requires a bigger dose each time you take it.
.
We just had a HUGE win. In fact, our biggest one yet.
.
But the parties over and winning is tapping me on the shoulder and letting me know…
.
It’s time to take my favorite trip back to hell.
.
“Winning doesn’t let you hang around. It meets you at the parade, cheers the loudest when you get the trophy, and then escorts you out to the parking lot, where the bus that brought you has a new sign with its next destination: “Hell””
