Day 181 #POVChallenge

“You’ll have a lot more company in hell than you will at the top.
.
Hell is where most people stay, because as unpleasant as it may be, for many it’s easier to settle there than try to battle their way out, and everyone there can relate to each other’s troubles.
.
Weight, finances, relationships, careers… hell is packed with folks who are struggling with the same issues.
.
So many, in fact, that it starts to feel right. Normal.
.
You fit right in. But you’re still in hell, and without a decisive plan to escape, that’s where you’ll remain.
.
For some, hell is about the hard work and endless battle to improve. But for others, hell is the chilling realization that they’re stuck, and will probably stay that way.
.
People will tell you to “just push through it,” as if there’s a one-way door to Winning that swings wide open.
.
Pushing isn’t enough, it’s unimaginative and predictable.
.
You pushed and then what?
.
To get out of your own personal hell, you have to be able to pull, grab, reach, climb, slither, jump, dig, claw your way to freedom.
.
Most people give a little push, and find themselves in a revolving door that just goes around and around and around.
.
Winning sets unreasonable goals, and requires you to bear the burden of responsibility for achieving them.
.
That means doing anything and everything possible to get out of the situation you’re in, and into position to win.
.
You can pay the price of Winning and succeed, or you can quit, stay where you are, and pay the price of regret.”
